LIP BLUSH
Lip Blush is an increasingly popular treatment for many. It offers a permanent lip stick effect on the lips and therefore reduces the need to apply makeup daily. If you are interested in learning more about Lip Blush please read on….
WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?
Lip blush is a semi permanent tattoo that can enhance the colour and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing a customised chosen colour into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The colour can be subtle like a lip balm or full block colour if so desired.
Lip blush will correct asymmetrical lips and add definition to the vermilion border (lip line). Lip blush will also redefine lips that have scar tissue caused by cold sores. This treatment requires a patch test, it takes approximately 2 hours and I include a perfecting appointment 6 weeks later.
Your perfect pout is only an appointment away!

Lip blush & me !
My lip blush journey started years ago…..
Some of you will know I had a 3rd degree facial burn as a toddler. This resulted in loss of pigment and definition in my top lip. Whilst makeup and lip liner covered this I disliked the lack of symmetry and my quest for evenly saturated lips began…..
Roll on 30 + years as a qualified PMU artist I wanted the result I could give others naturally enough! Not just to sell the treatment but because I love symmetry and being able to wear as little makeup as possible!
Unable to do my own lips (yes I considered this) ink flow, stretch and positioning proved too much an issue I conceded that booking one of my peers was the only option! Who better to trust that Gabrielle Rock Liverpool based trainer and lip blush specialist. Safe to say I was in good hands. I trained with Gabrielle in early 2022 and booked in for lip blush with her in August 2022.
Colour choice can be tricky and it’s advisable to bring with you your favourite lip liner or lipstick so the technician can best create your colour combination. I wanted a pink lip not a coral tone, not nudey but vibrant.
The treatment was pleasant and enjoyable and my healing journey is documented in the following photos. So come with me and let me show you what’s involved when you chose to tattoo your lips. I’ll be honest you will only get the best results if you follow the aftercare advice. There is no point in investing in this treatment if you ignore the aftercare advice. After all this is your face and the results are in your hands.
Luckily for me I’ve never had a cold sore and so didn’t need to take Acilivoir tablets pre and post treatment. If you have EVER had a cold sore you will need to see your GP for these tablets so to limit the potential for a cold sore outbreak. These photos are not photo shopped or altered in any way, my lips have no filler or anything other than pigment. I had quite full lips the pigment has just helped them pop!
